Lingxiao Cave | Beautiful Yangchun, the Land of Abundance and Prosperity and Picturesque Yangchun, Magnificient Gallery

Do you ever hear this province "Yangchun" in China Mainland?

Yeah i also got some problems when i did a research about this place in google (and in english words for sure). I couldn't find any information about this place actually. But i will give the information from the cave card i got before :

*
Yangchun, which is literally taken from "the north of the Moyang River and the spring-like weather of all seassons", is situated in the southwest port of Guangdong Province. The city sits along the upper reaches of Moyang River and is entitled at the National Geological Park for its great scenery and earns the reputation as one of country's top tourism cities.
Yangchun is a historical city and has very unique resources for its abundant places of historical interest and scenic beauty. For example, Lingxiao Cave ranks as the best among all the scenic caves in Southern China while Kontong Cave is one of the four fairy crags according to Chinese Legends; Baishi waterfall is regarded as the finest mountain waterfall in southern Guangdong and Chundu is the China's first radon hotspring.
There is also the Baiyong Provinvial Natural Reserve. In addition, many famous drama or movies have been shot in Chunwan Stone Forest adding more charisma to the city's tourism industry. The top 8 scenic spot in Yangchun are widely known as : Lingxiao Cave, Ehuang Elegant Waterfall, Chunwan Specatacle, Donghu Dawn, Kongtong Trace of Zen, Moyang Archaic Rhyme, Chundu Radon Hotspring and Phoenix Sunrise. All these beautiful sceneries, the splendid landscape plus the city's distinctive cultural heritage and the innocent life have earned Yangchun the titles of "Beautiful Yangchun, the Land of Abundance and Prosperity" and "Picturesque Yangchun, Magnificient Gallery".

"..earns the reputation as one of country's top tourism cities..." maybe for chinese mainland :p, because i didn't meet foreigners (except me). But i met hongkong/another china tourism also in Yangchun.

And i didn't go anyplace in this card information because i just read it completely right now (yes right now when i am writing this after 3 months :p). But still if i already read it there, i didn't have time too (excuse) and it is very hard to find accomodation and to do any communication (include my mom even she can talk chinese, but seems the dialect was different). So let my relatives did whole the things :p haha.. (can i say that we are lucky..)

So according my mom experience, hehe (why i went there because i have some relatives), we went from Shenzhen by bus and took cost around 130 RMB for almost 5 hours. And went back to Guangzhou (took cost around 100 RMB for almost 3.5 hours).

speechless i can't read the language
About the city hmm, no transportation at all, we should call a taxi by phone (such as a reservation and connection). But the taxi looked like private car. Rarely, i saw young people (age between 23 - 40) . Seems they worked outside of this province and go to another big province like Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, etc. Laterly, i met a lot of young people went to another cities when i waited the bus to Guangzhou. Surprisingly the food here had very big size like this picture -_____-' and very oily (hueks :p) for the price it was cheap!.

maybe half of this food is oil

it is very delicious and big fish

speechless ~~ too big :p, they alwasy gave a soup as an "appetizer" before main foods

Another Souppp~~. Seriously soupss..plenty of waterrr...

i don't know the name but too oily and salty :p

too big :p

almost full:p

enough~~

can't eat more (hueks)

i remembered i can't eat more for this last food ...

Actually I just went to a Lingxiao Cave and visits some of my relatives. Absolutely this cave is very awesome, they maintain and make their tourism with very good. The place actually flat (excited at the first) every where are stalagmites/stones with some colours of the lamps. And according to the guide tour (yeah we waited for a while, and the guide tour will bring and tell us about this cave) . The guide tour just told us, about some stalagmites/stones looked like monkey, god/godess, people face, etc. I just curious of one thing you know that this cave came up from the sea to the surface? i still can't understand how was the process. But i believe it will take thousand of years for sure.

Outside of the cave

the path

from below, they already made the stairs

and we went by the ship also because below the cave is small river

from below and arround

some guides

the ceiling with the lights

they played a song and some attractions here

cool! the colours with the lamps and the songs :)
And this is the picture of the city at night :

Work Harder and Too Much People at Guang Zhou (China)

Hi Readers,
I still tried to keep writing lol, even sometimes i am so lazy which one i should write first, second, third, etc :p.
Ok back to China Mainland now, actually i like china mainland because it felt like my "planet" haha, everybody looked like me (the small eyes, the skin colours, the height, etc) yeah because it is my race. But not the culture, Indonesia still have good manner in everywhere rather then them.
I went here for almost 4 days and 3 nights, yeah i did something stupid :p. I was wrong calculating the day LOL it should be 2 days and 1 night but because of some reasons, we were there for that time. I went here from Yangchun (another provinse/regions, i will write about this place later) by bus around 4-5 hours and took around 100++ RMB.
Hmm what i can say about this place are too much people here, and the clothes price absolutely cheap in Gongyuanqian (Beijing Road) or Changshou Lu (You can check from the metro maps, and please check your ittenary with chinese words, check this link before - about how to survive in china mainland).
So in here i went to Pearl River by the cruise :-D, it is near Gongyuanqian or Haizhu Square (yeah near means it will make you walk between 15 minutes to 30 minutes lol) around 80 RMB with the food and the tea. The price actually depend on which packet do you want (i just found the cheap one in english words and i didn't wait too long for the schedule). Here some picture from the cruise :

I want go to Panyu Bao Mao Garden and White Cloud Mountain (if i am not wrong) which is very far from the city and it means a big cost. So, i didn't go there. I just went to Yue Xiu Park. That is a big park and i got lost in my wat for one hour to get back my first place :p.
And i went to some museums such as :
  • Sun Yat Sen Memorial - it is near Yue Xiu Park, and the place is so so for me nothing here just like a small concert/for occasion
From outside the building | @dannywongso
  • King Tomb - it is also near Yue Xiu Park, you can see the tombs inside the hills / building now. How they buried their king with their maids, and concubines. Yeah the king maids, staffs, and concubines also should die if the king passed away. With the king golds, jewelery, etc to show that their king's welfare. Poor them :(. And in here also they show old pillow (the rich hongkong/chinese couple gave their collections to this place) it was very funny too look the pillow haha. They made from clay with variations design and shape for sure. I can't imagine how hard it will be, you can get injury if you are not becarefull  (that is clay = solid and rigid :p)
Yes this is a pillow from a clay |  @dannywongso

  • Chen Clan Academy - i liked this place, actually this place is an old but modern chinese house with the cool design and architect. They renovate this place with very good concept, they made this place for chinese arts (they also sell it too), like sculpture, jade, painting, etc. Of course i didn't buy it, it was very expensive amount for me. I just came, saw and took some pictures here.
From outside, check for the architecture | @dannywongso

My Summary About My Trip in China Mainland and Around

Hi All,

I just got back from my trip yeay, my third trip this year :-D. And suddenly i want to write about my opinion about China Mainland as a teaser :p.
There were very interesting journey, a lot of things different in culture, lifestyle, food, transportation, language, etc. Even i am a chinese, it is also hard for me to travel there :p. But here am i, survive and now time for me to write my story huehue.

I will write as fast as i can (i will write in some parts), of course i need time to edit some photo right?
From overall my trip, i will give advises, tips, tricks, and reviews (perhaps it will help you or just for your information :)). And here some points in my head :
PS :
All my comparation is with my country (Indonesia) and in Jakarta.
1. Food
  • You should learn how to use chopsticks , yeah you can ask for spoon too :). But never found for fork and knife :p
  • Never ask too much about the food/menu and touch the food before you pay. They will scold you for sure if you do that
  • A lot of food shops and cheap around us, you just need an extra effort to find it :p. Because it always in small roads or behind the big streets. Just follow the local people with the food plastics or ask them where they buy their food. Or find the way with a lot of people walk, there are must be a lot of food :p
  • Find the food shops with the picture, you can choose directly. It is easier :). Or look at some people who eat there, and choose like them. Why? Because the menu always in chinese words :p.
  • The taste is different, strange, too salty, and not like the picture :p. So lower your expectation for the first.
  • For muslim absolutely you must do an extra effort to find the food or ask people (of course prepare in chinese language), because even you choose chicken the food will contains pork :p. It means you must find muslim food and i can find in some place around me there.
  • Drinks usually free just for hot tea/water just look people around you :)
  • No chili / sauce :p, if they have. Absolutely the taste will different. (this is serious hehe)
2. Travel
  • Make sure all our destination in adress or maps (detail), with the english and chinese words too. When you get lost you need ask people right, and everyone i asked in my trip couldn't read english words :(, you must give them in chinese words.
  • Try to find the transportation for your destination in advance, and ask again in your hotel's receptionist for sure. Even they can't speak english well, but you can show the destination you want, and ask them how to go there with your notes.
  • Ask again in your ways to some people to confirm the place is correct (of course with chinese words). It will waste your time if you get the wrong way. Don't feel shy or shame, they will not recognize you too :p if you ask something ridiculous or stupid questions. Last time i got wrong MTR (Metro Line) maps with the picture there and got lost hahaha. Another idea just ask their help to write the place you want to go in chinese words :-D
  • Buy the ticket from the counter place, don't believe from people with uniforms etc. Because we don't know the truth just make sure you go to counter place and find the ticket price in the boards (of course in chinese words, but sometimes in english words). If in chinese words just follow your hearts to choose hahaha :p
  • Keep your wallet in front of you, not on your back pants / bag. My friend told me that if the wallet in your backs, it means ours, but vice versa it is yours :p.
  • Don't talk too much with strange people, they ask for money or offer you some products. Even they are look good / bad, you can get insting when the bad things will happen to you right.
  • Bring calculator for them to write, or try to understand their language at first. So you know how much exactly you should pay for the food or another stuff. Not everything notes in paper, they usually say it. And absolutely you will blank haha.
  • Sometimes in someplace, there is a people will help you, and bring your stuffs in metro line or bus transportation (if that is too heavy / big for you and look like you need a help).
  • Taxi in some place such as Hongkong and Macau will charge you for your stuffs inside or in the baggage.
3. Culture
  • They like to spit, with the sounds such as "Hoakk...Cuh..".. >.< uncommon voice and strange for me every where -_-'.
  • They speak very loud and talk like scream/fight hehe. You must be surprise at the first.
  • They are not good in service, no smile, and do everything very fast. And to the point when they talk with the high tone.
  • They will give their chair in public transportation for child/senior people. Yeah they have some good points in here :-D
  • Prepare for the toilet, hehe dirty (because of the spit) and bad smelly. But it much better rather than woman toilet :p. They are too lazy to splash the water after poop or pee -_-'
  • Don't surprise the people (man) can change the clothes not in the fitting room. They can half naked (just for the top) in every where. It seems uncommon to try the clothes with double clothes we wear.
  • Bargain more than half price for your stuffs, and don't believe with the price. They will say to you or the good words to you (such as : this is special price, only for you. Maybe it will cheaper in another shops :p). Even they scold you and kick you out from their shops :p, but at least you try to bargain haha (perhaps they can call you back for that price :p)
  • For me the people is hard worker, competitive, persistent, and seems they work overtime (do they salary low?). China mainland is very big country, a lot of people from small town/city will come to big place right? so it will crowd every where with chinese people :p
Just leave a comment, i will glad to answer :)
Some picture already in my instagram just find out in @dannywongso
