Angkor Wat in Siem Reap (Cambodia)

If you like a temple or a history place, you will like this place so much :)

But for me, it is such as a common place for history place :p, nothing special besides the temple. In my opinion it seems like Ayuthaya in Thailand. The temple built for praying and it design with a lot of meaning and influenced by hinduism at the first and then budhism at the end.

Nothing left besides the temple, no houses or any a historic building :p. I thought it already destroyed by the war in the past.

Siem Reap was very hot in this period (37 Celcius). I went to the old market - pub street - night street (same place just different block/street) and a lot of shopping place hoho.. A lot of food too :-D.

And tuk tuk is everywhere, just make sure you bargain for the lowest price :). Always be careful of scams in everywhere you are.

I woke up in early morning and waiting for our driver (i already booked before by email). Suddenly a tuk-tuk driver came in and had a conversation with the staff hotel using their local language. After that the staff hotel asked me, was i waiting for driver? I said yes. And he told me that my driver said sorry because he couldn't come and he already provided another driver.

I was so surprised because the days before i already reconfirm with my driver. So i told the staff to wait and i will call my driver, and surprisingly the driver came :p ahahhahahaha..

So i will start with the food :p..

From Alphard to Angkot - Cirebon Another Story

Fiuh finally i have time to write my story :-D.

Sorry for the delay! :p, because of some reason maybe in the next post i will write about it.

In the beginning of May 2014, our team decided to go to Cirebon (after a lot of discussion from Garut, Sukabumi, etc and i didn't know why finally we choose this city :p), last year we went to Long Trip to Capture Dolphins At Kiluan Bay (Lampung).

Our plan was 'no plan',we just went randomly when we already reached there. Except the train ticket from Gambir to Cirebon and the hotel (but somehow we moved to another hotel in the next day LoL).

We decided to go by Alphard (the exclusive taxi from Silver Bird) but somehow in that time, we couldn't get the taxi even we already booked the taxi one day before. I was so upset with their service actually because when i called the call center and told her that i was so disappointed. The call center told me this is not the complaint place, if you have complain just called ..... this number. Fiuh..

And why the title is Angkot then? hahaha.. It was randomly we hired an Angkot when we are in Cirebon to travel and from Jatinegara to our office :p.

So our journey was started at Gambir and took around 3.5 hours to Cirebon.

The train was in a good condition (AC is OK, and we could drop our stuffs in our above) and interesting for me because we could change the chair position :p to another side.

Outside of Cirebon - Since 1911 ??
Our first hotel was in front of Amaris Hotel, then we decided to move to that hotel in the next day. Hahaha. I thought because the Amaris Hotel looked much better than our first hotel :p - just take a look below. We got around 200 k IDR in first hotel and got 350 k IDR in second hotel - i used to bluffing about the corporate rate :p - sorry sometimes i so tricky lol - the common price 390 k IDR.

After we took a dinner in warteg :p, we tried to another food called Tempe Mendoan. It was so delicious with their variant - usually i just found the original one :).
