It is hard to get the 'moment' that make me to write :p another excuse..
Last month, i went to Taiwan and around :-D.
It is such as a good experience to see another 'Chinese' culture, food, place, etc..
Don't forget to try their HSR (High Speed Railway) of course the price must be more expensive rather than TSR (Transit Speed Railway). We save the time by HSR (the speed up to 270 km/hour).
And make sure the HSR and TSR station even in the same city is in different place / station / MRT Station. You should ask and check the MRT map/bus station.
In Taiwan, i should change to another transportation (and take another extra time 1-3 hours one way), different from another country that the public place is near the MRT station.
The price for food, clothes, etc more expensive rather than China..
Just be careful and ask the right people because a lot of people offer another transportation.. It is hard for all of you, if you can't speak/hear chinese language. They rarely can speak/understand english well.
The common thing you should go in Taiwan :
CKS Memorial Hall - the place is near the MRT station just googling about the MRT map..

Just go to random temple, they have a lot of temple everywhere.. And i went to Longshan temple near enough with the MRT station

You can't say you go to Taiwan without go to this place.... Taipei 101..You should go in the night :-D..
Because the Taiwan sometimes get earthquake they have the 'balance' thing.. And it is very big and look like a ball and be an icon for Taipei 101.. The place is near MRT station maybe took 5-10 minutes to walk..

Yehliu Park, the famous stone and the unique one.. You should take a bus from the MRT station and walk for 15 minutes.

Sunmoon Lake in Taichung, and of course we should take a bus to go here. And then with the boat - enjoy the place.

Don't miss to the intersection of this MRT station, because you can look the
Dome of Light in Kaoshiung.

The most important part you should go their night market :-D.. A lot of night market you can go.. Such as (i ordered by my favorite) Taiwan - Ximending, Taichung - Fengjia, Kaoshiung - Rueifong, Taiwan - Shihlin, and Kaoshiung - Liu He.
And this is the uncommon thing i went :
Alishan Forest.. Yup rarely people go here hihi, the place is very nature and nice.. So green! and i like to be here even the way to here is very hard.. The bus have limited schedule and i have tight schedule. So i couldn't miss the bus..
Try their train around the forest ;-D, i went to see the sunrise in the early morning :-D..
